- The seven sacraments of the Church are Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Penance and Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. The three sacraments of Christian Initiation are Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. Following Baptism and Confirmation, the third year of the triennial Golden Program of Vatican City is dedicated to the Eucharist. Depicted on the 50 Euro coin is the Last Supper, the moment when Jesus instituted the Eucharist. The 20 Euro coin shows a fish and a bread basket as featured in a paleochristian painting in the Crypt of Lucina at the Catacombs of San Callisto in Rome.
