Les membres du Chapitre « Italian and International » des Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, conduits par Sabrina Zappia, présidente, et Amy Gallant Sullivan, responsable du Chapitre, ont effectué une visite aux Musées du Vatican dans l’après-midi du 23 mai.

La visite du Chapitre de Belgique des Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums a commencé par la célébration d’une Messe. Celle-ci a été présidée par Monseigneur Terence Hogan, Coordinateur du Bureau des relations avec les Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, dans l’après-midi du mercredi après-midi 28 mai, dans l’église de Marie, Mère de la Famille, au Vatican.

L’art, la beauté, l’histoire et la foi soutiennent l’espérance

« Sur cette colline du Vatican, nous nous souvenons de ces grands hommes, femmes et enfants qui ont donné leur vie pour leur foi en Jésus, le Fils de Dieu ». C’est ainsi que s’est exprimé Monseigneur Terence Hogan, Coordinateur du Bureau des relations avec les Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, dans son homélie lors de la célébration eucharistique dans l’après-midi du mercredi 29 janvier, dans l’église de Marie, Mère de la Famille, au Vatican. Étaient présents Lisa et Rick Altig et leur fils Andy, ainsi qu’un groupe du chapitre du Northwest des Patrons. 

Completion of the restoration of the Hall of Constantine

After almost 10 years of restoration works, the Vatican Museum's Hall of Constantine was inaugurated during an official ceremony on Wednesday, 26 February. The ceremony was attended by Sr. Raffaella Petrini, Secretary General of the Governorate, Mr. Giuseppe Puglisi-Alibrandi, Deputy Secretary General, Barbara Jatta, Director of Museums and Cultural Heritage, Monsignor Terence Hogan, Coordinator of the Office for Relations with the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums, and Donna D’Urso, leader of the New York Chapter, accompanied by 25 members of the Patrons. The New York Chapter and the Eileen Carlson Estate financially supported the restoration, with a generous contribution. The massive restoration, which began in 2015, was one of the longest  projects to be funded, to date.
