Launch of the new app for the institutional website www.vaticanstate.va
Dedicated to Saint Carlo Acutis (1991–2006) and his talent for computer technology, the new official app of the Governorate of the Vatican City State has been launched.
The application features the institutional website www.vaticanstate.va and has been designed to provide access to institutional information even simpler, quicker and easier to use on mobile devices.
The new app allows users to quickly and intuitively consult news, notices and official communications, improving the browsing experience and access to information.
Key features of the app include:
- up-to-date access to news and institutional communications;
- push notifications for breaking news;
- simplified navigation optimized for smartphones and tablets;
- improved accessibility and usability of content.
Within the app, the various sections reproduce: the saint of the day, news, interviews, videos, and links connecting to the other institutions of the Governorate: CFN Philately and Numismatics, Vatican Museums, Vatican Pharmacy, Vatican Post Office, Pontifical Villas, Vatican Observatory. Additional features will be implemented at a later stage.
This initiative is part of the digital innovation pathway promoted by the Governorate, with the aim of fostering transparency, participation and the dissemination of institutional information through modern and inclusive tools.
