  • Coins commemorates Saint Francis: Italy, Vatican City and San Marino - together for the first time

    Agreement signed today for a coordinated issue: three coins united in a single project for the 800th anniversary of the Saint’s death

    Vatican City, March 30, 2026 – For the very first time, three States have joined forces in a numismatic project in the name of Saint Francis. The Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato of Italy, the Governorate of Vatican City State, and Poste San Marino have signed an agreement establishing, for the first time, the creation of a triptych of commemorative coins dedicated to the song Canticle of the Creatures [aka Canticle of the Sun], in the year marking the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226–2026).

  • Agreement between the Governorate of Vatican City State and Elli Mobility for charging services and electric vehicle fleet management

    An agreement was signed on Friday, April 10, between the Governorate of Vatican City and Elli Mobility, a company of the Volkswagen Group. The agreement concerns the adoption of Elli Mobility’s card and the use of its centralized digital platform to manage the charging of the electric vehicle fleet.

  • Memorandum of Understanding between the Governorate of Vatican City State and Consip S.p.A.

    Cooperation for the improvement of procurement lifecycles

    A Memorandum of Understanding for cooperation on the procurement cycle procedures has been signed between the Governorate of Vatican City and Consip S.p.A.

    The agreement was signed on Wednesday morning, March 18, in the Office of the Presidency at the Governorate by Sr. Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate, and Marco Reggiani, CEO and General Manager of Consip.
