The annual International Meeting of Chapter Leaders of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums took place in Ottawa, Canada, from September 19 to 21. The delegation from Vatican City was led by Sr. Rafaella Petrini, President of the Governorate and Giuseppe Puglisi-Albrandi, Secretary General. Among other officials, Mons. Terence Hogan, Coordinator of the Patrons of the Arts in the Vatican Museums also attended.
The fourth event of the WSIS+20 Week and the third day of AI for Good took place at the Geneva Palaexpo for Governance Day. At the heart of the event was the AI Governance Dialogue Roundtable Lunch, attended by the President of the Governorate of the Vatican City State, Sister Raffaella Petrini.

This was emphasized by Sister Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate of the Vatican City State, on Saturday, October 25, during the meeting on "Women’s Leadership and Catholic Universities," held in Rome on Saturday, October 25, promoted by the Executive Program of the International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU).
As part of the WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025, organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and currently taking place at the Palaexpo in Geneva, a closed-door Ministerial Roundtable was held for Ministers and key Delegation Leaders from the participating countries.
An economic dimension “essentially understood as being at the service of the person, and thus directed at meeting his or her needs, rather than at the rationalization of scarce resources,” and making economic choices as “integral tools of the Church’s missionary action, through which the evangelical word can be concretely manifested” realizing that spirit of solidarity which breaks with the throwaway culture promoted by the ‘technocratic paradigm.’
A warm meeting of friendship and sharing took place between Sister Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate of Vatican City State, and a group of 17 young university students from the Diocese of Trieste, on Tuesday morning, 4 March, in the Palace of the Governorate. The students were led by Fr. Lorenzo Magarelli, Episcopal Delegate of the Diocesan Service of University Pastoral Care and Director of the diocesan weekly, “Il Domenicale di San Giusto”, and Fr. Sergio Frausin, Episcopal Delegate of Culture and University Pastoral Care.
Ilse Aigner, President of the Bavarian Landtag (the parliament of the Free State of Bavaria), accompanied by an official delegation, was received on the morning of September 10 by Sister Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate of Vatican City State.
“In a particular way during this Holy Year, we are called to be tangible signs of hope for those of our brothers and sisters who experience hardships of any kind.” This was the message of Pope Leo XIV to the Knights of Columbus, gathered in Washington, D.C. for the 143rd Supreme Convention, held from August 4 to 7.
