Per celebrare i 40 anni delle decorazioni floreali donate al Papa, in occasione della Pasqua, è stato piantumato un albero di Liriodendron Tulipifera, conosciuto come albero dei tulipani. Non poteva mancare il riferimento al fiore più famoso coltivato nei Paesi Bassi per questa nuova pianta che da venerdì mattina, 24 aprile, adorna i Giardini Vaticani.
Capable de survivre dans des environnements urbains pollués, de s’adapter à différents types de sols et de résister aux maladies comme aux parasites, le ginkgo biloba est un arbre qui dans de nombreuses cultures asiatiques symbolise la longévité. Il présente également de nombreux avantages, notamment l’amélioration de la qualité de l’air en ville, ainsi que la création de zones d’ombre et de fraîcheur pendant les périodes chaudes. Un spécimen de cette espèce a été planté, dans la matinée du vendredi 6 mars, dans les Jardins du Vatican.
The Ginkgo Biloba survives in polluted urban environments, tolerates various soil types, and resists diseases and parasites. In many Asian cultures, it is a symbol of longevity. The tree offers numerous benefits, including improving urban air quality and creating shaded, cooling areas during the warm seasons. A specimen of this species was planted on March 6 in the Vatican Gardens.

A wooden statue of the Infant Jesus is now present in the Church of Mary, Mother of the Family, in the Governorate building. It was donated by the community of the Discalced Carmelites of the Shrine of Arenzano (Genoa). The enthronement ceremony took place on Thursday afternoon, March 26, in the presence of Cardinal Domenico Calcagno, President Emeritus of the Administration of the Patrimony of the Apostolic See, who also presided over the Holy Mass.
