The Musical Band of the Vatican Gendarmerie Corps in Concert with the Musical Band of the Penitentiary Police Corps of Rome

In memory of Judge Giovanni Falcone, hundreds of students took part in the 6th edition of the initiative “Men and Women in Uniform, a Resource for the Community”, dedicated to the victims of the mafia and to all those who sacrificed their lives in the service of the Italian State.

The event was held in the Aula Magna of the “Giovanni Falcone” Training School of the Penitentiary Police in Rome. On this occasion, for the first time in public, the Musical Band of the Vatican Gendarmerie Corps and the Musical Band of the Italian Penitentiary Police Corps performed a concert together.

The Band of the Gendarmerie Corps was conducted by Maestro Stefano Iannilli and coordinated by Deputy Commissioner of the Gendarmerie Mauro Colaiacomo, head of regulation and operations, while the Band of the Penitentiary Police Corps was directed by Fausto Remini, Director and Senior Executive of the Penitentiary Police.
