Ceremony for the Delivery of 20 Fiat Topolino Vehicles
Twenty fully electric Fiat Topolino vehicles were officially delivered to the Governorate of Vatican City State on the morning of Tuesday, 30 June.
The ceremony took place in the square in front of the Governorate Palace and was attended, among others, by Archbishop Emilio Nappa and Giuseppe Puglisi-Alibrandi, Secretaries General of the Governorate, together with Olivier François, CEO of the Fiat company and Chief Marketing Officer of Stellantis.
This first group of 20 vehicles will be followed by the delivery of an additional 10 Fiat Tris vehicles, which the automotive company will supply to the Governorate of Vatican City State to strengthen their shared commitment to more sustainable and responsible mobility through innovative, fully electric solutions.
The introduction of this fully electric fleet is consistent with the environmental strategy promoted by the Governorate of Vatican City State, which has launched a sustainable mobility development program known as Ecological Conversion 2030, aimed at reducing the CO₂ footprint of its vehicle fleet.
This decarbonization pathway—with the goal of achieving a zero-emission fleet by the end of the decade—seeks to make the transportation of both people and goods increasingly sustainable, including through Fiat's micro-mobility solutions.
