Two Events at Yale University with the President of the Governorate
On Saturday, November 16, in the Saint Thomas More Catholic Chapel and Center at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut, the President of the Governorate, Sr. Raffaella Petrini, delivered The Mary Field and Vincent DeP Goubeau Lecture on Women's Role in the Church & Society regarding the many complementary dimensions of exercising authority, service and the practice of care.
Her address was part of Saint Thomas More Center’s initiative to offer students the opportunity to engage with distinguished figures in their respective fields and, in particular, to explore the contribution of women.
Upon her arrival at Saint Thomas More Center, Sister Raffaella was welcomed by the Chaplain, Father Joseph MacNeill, by Joseph Connolly, Executive Director, and by some members of the Board of Trustees.
On Monday, November 17, Sister also met with a group of students from the Roman Catholic Fellowship of Yale Divinity School, where she was received by the Dean, Professor Gregory Sterling.
